About the Islip Art Museum
Did you know that Islip Town has its own art museum? Or that The New York Times calls the Islip Art Museum “the best facility of its kind outside Manhattan?” The Islip Art Museum is the leading space for contemporary art on Long Island. The Museum’s Carriage House Workspace is a center for experimental art in the tri-state area. Both facilities are located in the Brookwood Hall park complex, 50 Irish Lane, East Islip, NY 11730. Galleries are open Wednesday through Saturday from 1 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free but donations are encouraged.

The Museum School
The Islip Art Museum offers classes for adults and children in the Museum School. Classes are taught by professional artists in a museum setting. Materials lists are provided for adult classes. All materials are provided for children’s classes. www.Islipartmuseum.org.
