New Rules beginning 2009
Islip Town has some of the best golf courses on Long Island. Take a relaxing day at one of Islip's well designed golf courses. Try the blue course at Timber Point Golf Course which runs along the Great South Bay or try the challenges at The West Sayville Golf Course. For the 2009 Golf Season the County Golf Courses will be strictly enforcing the following dress code:

Men: collared or mock shirts only. No T-Shirts or tank tops of any kind
Women: No T-Shirts, tank tops or Halter tops Shorts permitted, must be hemmed, walking type or Bermuda. Jeans must be clean, and in acceptable condition Non-penetrating metal spikes soft spikes, or sneakers.
