Lakeland County Park is a fully accessible facility, designed for the disabled and their families, includes a nature trail-boardwalk over the head-waters of the Connetquot River, a with unique views of wetland vegetation, waterfowl and fish. Picnic areas with gazebo, boardwalks, shuffleboard, basketball courts, fishing. Organizational group use is available on a reservation basis.
Directions: LIE to exit 58 south (Nichols Rd). Turn left at Johnson Avenue. Park entrance is one-half mile up the road, on the right.
